Labor Economics - Lecturers: Monica Langella and Roberto Nisticò

The course covered key topics in labor economics, combining theoretical models and empirical applications. It explored how wages and employment are determined in perfectly competitive labor markets and how these dynamics change in settings with imperfect competition. Additional topics included the role of labor market institutions in shaping wages and unemployment, individual investment in education, the effects of migration on labor market outcomes, and gender and ethnic discrimination. I was responsible for conducting the exercise sessions.
